Garden Grill Restaurant Review- Breakfast

Happy #tastytuesday friends!! Today I decided to overhaul the review of my FAVORITE breakfast in all of Walt Disney World- Garden Grill Restaurant!

You can find Garden Grill in The Land pavilion in Epcot Future World. Garden Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is an all-you-can eat character meal that brings skillets of freshly made food right to your table! It’s also 1 table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

When I make a breakfast reservation at Garden Grill, I always check park hours first and make the reservation on a morning when Epcot does not have Extra Magic Hours. I like entering an empty park and being able to take pictures before the park officially opens, as you can see above! Usually the earliest reservation you can make is for 8:00am, so I usually aim for that time.

One of the cool things (of many!) about the Garden Grill is that it is a rotating restaurant that looks over different views of the ride Living with the Land. If you have motion sickness, don’t worry- you can barely tell that you’re moving! But, because the restaurant moves, you may run into the characters of Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale on the way to your table.

The allergy friendly menu is second to none at this restaurant as well. To start, there is a fresh fruit bowl brought to the table. And when I say fresh, I mean FRESH! It’s so good and actually comes straight from the greenhouses in Living with the Land.

Next, the table usually gets a huge cinnamon role (pictured above) for everyone to share. As I can’t eat one, my option is an allergy friendly blueberry muffin. This trip (May 2019) I also opted to get coffee with soy milk and a mimosa, both of which are included on the Disney Dining Plan.

Next, a full skillet is brought to the table, including allergy friendly Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, and tater tots. The regular skillet also includes eggs, which I did not get. My favorite part of the skillet is actually the fresh salsa that is brought on the side, as I like to dip my tater tots in it!

Although not included in the meal, I had asked if the chef could make me some vegetables on one of our visits to the Garden Grill. Although he very easily could have said no, he whipped up some fresh veggies for me of corn, edamame, red peppers, and onions.

And of course…

…we can’t forget the character interactions!!

All in all, Garden Grill breakfast never disappoints. The meal is always the same with the same exact food and quality of the food. Plus, we’ve been fortunate enough to have the same cast member, Ryan, wait on us 3 times in 1 year!! He’s great, so definitely ask for him if you can.

I hope you enjoyed this updated review! Here’s to living our best and most delicious Disney lives! <3
